oh man this kid is a wiggle butt. I can't get over how much a day he wiggles around poking and kicking and turning and just sliding around all over the place. Today from the moment I woke up he was wiggling. I've been sitting at work for two hours now, and haven't had a moment that he wasn't tossing and turning. I've been reading that I'm supposed to be counting the babies' kicks every day. To make sure that I get kicked a certain amount of time (10x) in a 2 hour period. I'm POSITIVE that I don't need to count. The kid kicks me like every 3 seconds all day and night long.
oh, and PS. I still haven't seen any clear hands or feet.

bigger kicks, and more movement
So I'm 29 weeks now, and I feel like I'm a giantess, although I realize it's all in my head. The little guy is up and active more than I had expected, and way more than any of the books had indicated he would be at this point. I'm already wondering if this is an indication of what he'll be like once he's on the outside. If he's anything like me and Francis we are gonna have one HYPER child, I'm already leaning towards that being the case.
So this past weekend, I was relaxing and doing work around the apartment, and spent a lot of time watching my stomach. The little man was movin' tons this weekend, and it was visible from afar. I could actually watch my whole stomach move from looking very full bloated looking on the left side, to looking very full on the right (and the other side looked like it was sinking in). Then I would watch as this little line would bulge up then move across my whole stomach. This would go on for about an hour at a time, then suddenly stop. Then about 2 hours later start up again.
Today I'm sitting at work and I keep watching my stomach again. I've heard that suddenly I'll start seeing like a hand or a foot and I'm patiently waiting for that to happen!

Sleep is for suckers
And so it begins... I get no sleep at night, it's a good thing I get little naps in in the afternoon after work otherwise I'd be a train wreck. At night the little man is WIDE AWAKE and kicking me. Apparently he's not thrilled with me laying on my side. The little bit of pressure of my belly up against the bed annoys him (really? seriously? ugh!) and he kicks me in the area that is touching the bed over and over and over until I move. I just roll over to the other side, and then we begin all over.
I had mentioned on my facebook last week that the little man knocks stuff over if I rest it on my tummy, such as the remote when I'm watching tv. (granted, I've taken to using my growing belly as a table/coaster/shelf). But the little guy is not amused, and so he knocks off whatever I put there. At first this was amusing me to no end, that my unborn baby and I were able to play a little game where if I put something somewhere he reacts and hits it, then if I move the object (or my finger as I've also been doing) to another spot, he hits the new spot too, I feel like I'm playing the kids game "Simon" (do they still make that game?) with my little one. But now, well now I'm not allowed to sleep, and his kicks are getting harder and startling me while I sleep, and making for a cranky/ not-so-awake Ali in the AM.
