Welcome!

So I'm finally sharing my little blog with our family! YAY! And I figured out how to post from my phone (yay) and I also got some of our ultrasound pictures up from sitting at work on a Saturday and scanning my brains out (more images coming!)

Everything is going well so far! Tomorrow I'll be at the 22 week mark already! Gasp! This is going by so fast! Supposedly I'm in the vacation trimester, where everything is a breeze. I suppose that's so, I'm not sicky feeling anymore, I'm still tired, but not as bad as I was the first trimester. I do have my gripes, my random numbness in my fingers (omg at night it's the worst- I wake up with my whole hand asleep!) and a couple of little things that I call my Mom to tell about (like the funny racing stripe on my stomach)and she finds hysterical (grumble grumble).

So when we were at about 20 weeks I finally felt my first baby movement! It was exciting and weird. It's a extremely weird sensation to me, it reminds me of when you're in an airplane and can feel the person behind you kick your chair..... It's not hard or painful, it's just startling and a little strange because it's coming from inside. When it happens while I'm at work I must get the strangest looks on my face, because I find people staring at me (it's always while I'm in a meeting with 15-20 men), and I find it hard to concentrate when it's happening. My brain tends to want to have a conversation with the baby and figure out what he's doing instead of paying attention to the people around me.
