Singing

So whenever Taylor gets really upset, we've found that a little bit of singing does wonders for hid mood. He almost immediately quiets down as we start singing and intensely starts listening to us as we sing and sometimes giggles and makes noise as we're singing. Daddy usually is making up various songs that star Taylor in them doing a wide array of baby things, usually taking other tunes and inserting Taylor's name into them. I'm usually not that creative, I have a limited number of songs that I've been able to think of on the fly like that, most of them grossly inappropriate, yet I sing them anyway. So Taylor's favorite? I sing in all my out of tune glory the Ramones 53rd and 3rd.... And while I love the Ramones and this is one of my fav songs..... It's so disturbingly inappropriate for children it's ridiculous (for those who don't know, look it up... The lyrics are So embarrassingly not good). So of course my kid loves it and thinks when mommy sings it it's hysterical..... Sigh. I'm such a good mom (sarcasm).
